Job description

This position will assist both Campfire Labs and the Impact Fund in operations, network development and event planning.

Grow Impact Fund network and plan events

  • Create a list of influential climate thought leaders, donors, political leaders, etc.

  • Send thoughtful emails to set up meetings for senior staff

  • Find and book venues and speakers

  • Invite relevant attendees

Grow Campfire Labs’ customer community

  • Plan content-related events in major U.S. cities to help Campfire Labs grow its revenue

  • Find and book venues and speakers

  • Send cold emails to content marketing leaders at large tech companies to increase event attendance

Manage internal operations

  • Manage the recruitment process and initial vetting of applicants as needed for either Campfire Labs or the Impact Fund

  • Onboard new employees & contractors to our systems and culture

  • As needed, provide scheduling and admin support for our senior staff, assist with content distribution and social media, help with various tasks for the Impact Fund, and more

What we’re looking for

  • Building relationships: You love bringing people together and feel at home engaging with anyone.

  • Attention to detail: You double-check your i’s and t’s to ensure nothing gets dropped or missed.

  • Great communication skills: You follow up and follow through. You communicate clearly and consistently.

  • Systems thinking: You think about how to make processes scalable, and you can streamline projects that involve multiple people and ideas.

  • Bias towards action: “Get shit done” is your default mode. You enjoy autonomy and are self-motivated.

  • Values alignment: You believe in what we’re doing and never cut corners.

  • Experience with network-building and event logistics is a plus.
