We believe a great story is one that you’d tell around the campfire. You know, like the ones that your Mom or Dad used to tell on those camping trips to Yosemite growing up.

We think the internet has too much “10 things you need to know about XYZ” and not enough stories that change the way you see the world.

We’re on a mission to change that.

Michael is passionate about telling stories. After selling his company in 2017 he began writing for magazines like The Atlantic, Quartz, and FastCompany and producing documentaries.

Head of Operations

Quinn is passionate about helping social entrepreneurs grow their impact. Previously she developed Uncharted’s global mentor and entrepreneur networks spanning 96 countries.


Profits that make the world better

At Campfire Labs we’re inspired by companies like Patagonia, Kiva, and Charity: Water that make the world measurably better.

We’re a social enterprise which means that our purpose isn’t to maximize shareholder value or profits. 50% of the company’s equity and profits go to charitable causes.

To date we’ve been able to donate more than $50,000. This has funded a code school for refugees that has helped 15 people out of poverty and climate policy work that aims to reduce human-caused climate change.
